What the store learns about you when you shop, why, and what you can do about it. Written for the store alone; the web app's own privacy notice covers consultations and rituals.

How the store is used: the pages seen and for how long, where a visit came from (a search, a social site, a link, a campaign), the kind of device and browser, and the cityYour browser, as you look round the storeTo count visits and see which pages help, so the store gets better. A random number in a cookie of the store's own tells a returning visitor from a new one; it says nothing about who you are. No third-party tracker, no full IP address kept, nothing sold

We ask for nothing we do not use. A mobile number is the way in and the way we reach you about a parcel; we never sell it, and it never enters an account through a delivery form.

If you start a checkout and don't finish, we may send you one email reminder. You can stop these at any time.

Payments

Online payments are taken by Razorpay, a payment aggregator authorised by the Reserve Bank of India. Your card, UPI or bank details go to Razorpay directly; the store never sees or stores them. We keep only the payment reference Razorpay returns, the amount, and the time it arrived, because the invoice must say so.

Where the checkout offers them, cash on delivery and the balance of a part payment are collected by the courier at your door; nothing about them is stored beyond the amount due and the fact that it was paid.

Cookies and the cart

The store sets a small number of cookies, all its own and none for advertising: one that remembers your cart, your wish list and your orders while you are not signed in; one that says you are signed in; one that remembers whether you prefer light or dark; and two that count visits, a random number kept a year and one that marks a visit for half an hour. Clearing them empties a guest cart and signs you out; it deletes nothing from an account.

Who else sees it

  • Couriers receive your name, address and mobile number, and nothing else, to deliver the parcel and to collect a return.
  • Razorpay receives what a payment needs, as above.
  • Zoho Books, the store's accounting software, receives what a tax invoice must carry: your name, email and mobile number, the billing and delivery addresses, a GSTIN and business name if you gave them, and what you ordered, paid and had refunded. The invoice and any credit note are made there, and the store's accounts are kept there.
  • The acharya who energises your item sees what it is and the name on its delivery address, which the rite is said in. Nothing else.
  • Our own cloud provider hosts the store's records in India. Nobody else receives your data, and it is never sold.
