  • The Yagyanam Store is run by Yagyanam, a GST-registered sole proprietorship concern in Gurugram, Haryana, GSTIN 06BYZPJ9731R1Z4. It is Yagyanam's own shop for the things a practice needs.

The store sells items: consultations and rituals are not booked here. Everything in this help centre is about what you buy from the store.

Two kinds of things, as the Categories menu in the bar sorts them:

    • Sacred objects: yantras, rudraksha, gemstones, lockets and pendants, bracelets and rings, and idols and murtis.
    • For the practice: puja items, clothing and books.

Every item that asks for it is energised by our acharyas before it is packed, at no extra cost. Shop all shows everything on one page.

  • After your order is confirmed and before it is packed, one of our acharyas performs the rite the item asks for: a yantra is consecrated, a rudraksha is awakened, a murti is invoked.

It happens for every item that asks for it, at no extra cost. The Energised shelf gathers the items that are.

    Note

The energising is a rite performed in good faith. It is not a promise of any particular outcome, and it is not medical, legal or financial advice.

Between your order and its packing:

    1. You orderThe order is confirmed the moment the shelf has the stock for it.
    2. The riteAn acharya energises each item that asks for it.
    3. Packed and sentThe item is packed after the rite, and the parcel leaves within a day of it.
    4. On its wayThe tracking id appears on the order when the courier collects the parcel.

Yes. The rite is photographed and filmed, and once our team has checked them, the photographs and the film are kept with your order.

    1. Open your ordersGo to your Orders page.
    2. Open the orderTap the order the item belongs to.
    3. See the riteTap a photograph or the film of the rite to see it large. Download keeps a copy.

    Note

An order from before the rite was filmed may keep one photograph or film instead: tap See the proof.

Only the acharya who energises your item, and only what the item is and the name on its delivery address, which the rite is said in. Nothing else about you reaches them.

No. The energising is a rite performed in good faith, with the care the item asks for. It is not a promise of any particular outcome.

It is not medical, legal or financial advice either. For those, please see a doctor, a lawyer or a financial adviser.

    • Rudraksha: chosen wherever the best are found, Nepal and Java among them, and each lot purified at a temple before it reaches the shelf. After you order, one of our verified acharyas checks each one by hand, inscribes your name, performs the rite in that name and shares the clips with you, along with the acharya's own licence. There is no lab certificate for a rudraksha.
    • Gemstones: with a certificate only where the product page says so; it travels in the parcel with the stone.

The photographs on the product pages are of the actual items, or of the same batch, and the reviews come only from people who bought the item.

Where the product page says so, yes. The certificate travels in the parcel with the stone.

Keep it with the stone: if you ever return the stone, its certificate comes back with it.

A stone is suggested from your own chart, never from a mood or a wish. Two ways to choose:

    • Shambhavi: give her your date, time and place of birth and she reads your chart to suggest a stone or a practice, never to predict; or tell her what you are going through, in your own words, and she finds what fits from the store's shelves. Ask Shambhavi.
    • Our team: answers your questions about any stone or rudraksha on the shelves: what it is, its size, its making and its care. Talk to our team.

Rudraksha, stone, brass, copper, clay and hand-woven cloth are natural and handmade; no two are the same. Small differences in size, shade, grain and finish are the nature of the thing, not a defect.

The pictures are of the actual items or their batch, and a screen shows colour its own way.

    Note

If what arrived is not what the page described, that is different: you can ask for a return or a replacement within seven days. See what can come back.

    1. Take a kurta you likeLay it flat.
    2. Measure itAcross the chest, down the length, along the shoulder and the sleeve.
    3. Match the guideOpen the size guide on the product page and choose the size whose numbers come closest.
    Note

Measure before you choose: a size that does not fit is not a reason to return a kurta. A size different from the one you ordered is. See changing a size.

Only someone who bought an item can review it, and the review must be their own.

Every review is read by the shop before it appears.

We remove reviews that are abusive, that advertise, or that were not written by a buyer, and we never pay for one.

  • It takes a minute or two, and the cart keeps what you added if you stop part way.

    1. Add it to your cartChoose any options the item has, such as a size, a colour or a fabric, and tap Add to cart.
    2. Open the checkoutFrom the cart, tap Checkout, and sign in with your mobile number and the six-digit code we text you.

You can browse and fill a cart without signing in; the cart is kept in this browser.

To check out, you sign in with your mobile number and the six-digit code we text you. That is the whole account: no password, no username. It is also how we show you your orders and reach you about a parcel.

The moment the shelf has the stock for it. You see it on your Orders page, and by email if you gave one at the checkout.

From there, each item that asks for it is energised after your order, before it is packed, and the parcel leaves within a day of that.

    Your orders

Yes. Prices are in Indian rupees and include GST, and every paid order comes with a GST tax invoice.

The price you see when you pay is the price you pay. If a price has changed since you added the item, the checkout shows the new one before you confirm.

Delivery is free above ₹999 and a flat ₹79 below that; cash on delivery, where the checkout offers it, adds a fee. Both are shown before you pay.

A coupon applies to the items it names, once per order. Enter it at the checkout and it shows as a discount line before you pay.

If you return an item that a coupon was used on, its refund takes the item's share of the coupon into account.

  • The checkout shows the ways open for your order:

    • Online: by card, UPI, net banking or wallet, through Razorpay.
    • Part payment: 30% online now and the rest in cash at the door, with no cash fee.
    • Cash on delivery: the whole amount at the door, with a fee.

Every charge is shown before you confirm.

Where the checkout offers it, you pay a share of the order online, shown before you confirm, and the courier collects the rest at your door. Unlike a full cash order, there is no cash fee.

If an item comes back, the online share goes back the way you paid it, and the cash share to a UPI id or bank account you name. See where the money goes.

Where the checkout offers cash on delivery, a fee is added to the order, and it is shown before you confirm.

Part payment, where offered, has no fee: a share online and the rest at the door.

If an item comes back through our doing (it arrived damaged, wrong or incomplete), the fee is refunded too.

Yes. Online payments are taken by Razorpay, a payment aggregator authorised by the Reserve Bank of India.

Your card, UPI or bank details go to Razorpay directly; the store never sees or stores them. We keep only the payment reference Razorpay returns, the amount and the time, because the invoice must say so.

No. The order waits on your Orders page, marked as unpaid. Then either:

    • Pay again: open the order and pay from there.
    • Leave it: an unpaid order lapses on its own.

    Your orders

    Note

If money left your account but the order still shows as unpaid, write to store@yagyanam.com with the order number and the reference your bank shows, and we will trace it.

Yes, a GST tax invoice for every paid order. It appears on the order on your Orders page once it is issued, to view, download or print.

Keep it: with the order itself, it is your proof of purchase if an item ever needs to come back.

  • Three to seven days from dispatch for most of India; remote pincodes can take a little longer.

Before that, an item that asks for a rite is energised after your order, before it is packed, and the parcel leaves within a day of it. You can follow it all on your Orders page.

    Your orders

Nothing on orders above ₹999. Below that, a flat ₹79, shown before you pay.

When an item comes back through our doing (it arrived damaged, wrong or incomplete), delivery is refunded as well.

Yes. The tracking id appears on the order the moment the courier collects the parcel, and your Orders page follows it from there.

    Your orders

Not yet. The store ships across India, and we will say so here the day that changes.

Please check the parcel when it arrives, and tell us within seven days if it is damaged.

    1. Photograph itTake a picture of the item and its packing, as they arrived.
    2. Raise a requestOn your Orders page, pick the item, choose It was broken or damaged in dispatch or delivery, and add the photograph.
    3. Choose what you would likeA return or a replacement. We answer within a day; a replacement may be offered, and in some cases we can only refund.

Because the fault is ours, delivery and any cash-on-delivery fee are refunded as well.

    Your orders

    Note

An item energised for you is replaced, or refunded if you prefer, and a damaged one stays with you. Nothing is collected.

Raise a request on your Orders page: pick the item, choose Something was missing, and add a photograph of what arrived, with its packing.

You can have the missing item sent or its price refunded, and because the fault is ours, delivery is refunded too.

  • From your Orders page, within seven days of delivery, with the order as proof of purchase:

    • When something is wrong with what arrived: it was broken or damaged in dispatch or delivery, it is not as described, it is faulty, something is missing, a different item came, or it is a different colour, model or size from your order: a return or a replacement; for three days after the seven, a replacement only.
    • When it came late: after the date we promised: a return, the item unused and in its packing.
    • Not for a change of mind: whatever the item.

See what can come back, and how to ask.

    Your orders

    Note

An item energised for you comes back only if it arrived damaged, different or wrong, and then it is replaced, or refunded if you prefer.

    1. Raise the requestOn your Orders page, pick the item, tell us the reason, add a photograph where it helps, and choose where the money should go. We answer within a day.
    2. The pickupOnce it is approved, a courier collects the item from the address it was delivered to. The pickup date is shown on the order.
    3. The checkWhen it reaches us and is checked, the refund is initiated, or the replacement goes out the same day.
    4. If we cannot accept itThe order says why. You can write to us if you think we have it wrong.

    Your orders

    Note

Keep the item in its own packing, and have the order number to hand for the courier. A damaged item energised for you is not collected: the replacement simply comes.

    • Anything that arrived wrong: broken or damaged in dispatch or delivery, not as described, faulty, with something missing, a different item, or a different colour, model or size: replaced or refunded, whatever the item.
    • A late parcel: one that came after the date we promised: refunded, the item unused and in its packing.
    • Items energised for you: only if they arrived damaged, different or wrong, and then they are replaced, or refunded if you prefer. A damaged one stays with you.
    • Clothing: a size that does not fit is not a reason to return it; a size different from the one you ordered is. Clothing that has been worn or washed cannot come back.
    • A change of mind: is not a reason for anything to come back.
    Note

Every request needs the item with everything it came with, its packing, tag and any certificate, and the order as proof of purchase, on the Orders page or as its invoice.

A size that does not fit is not a reason to return a kurta, so measure against the size guide before you choose. If the size that came is not the one you ordered, it comes back, within seven days of delivery:

    1. Ask for a replacementOn your Orders page.
    2. Give the reasonIt is a different colour, model or size from my order, with a photograph of its label.
    3. The swapThe size you ordered comes, and the courier takes the other.

    Note

The kurta comes back unworn and unwashed, with its tag.

Only if something was wrong with it: damaged, faulty, not as described or not what you ordered, within seven days of delivery. The same goes for dhoop and resin.

Opened or not, nothing comes back for a change of mind.

Once a parcel has left us it can no longer be cancelled. Two things you can still do:

    • Refuse it: at the door, when the courier arrives. See a refused parcel for what comes back.
    • Return it: within seven days of delivery, if something is wrong with it. See what can come back.

A parcel refused at the door, or one the courier could not deliver because the address or phone did not work, comes back to us. When it is back:

    • Each item: is refunded like a return: its price, less its share of any coupon, to where it was paid from.
    • The delivery charge: is kept.
    • An item energised for your order: is not refunded: the rite was said over it for you.

If the parcel came back through the courier's failing, not yours, everything paid comes back. A cash order that is refused has nothing to refund.

    Note

We may stop offering cash on delivery to a number whose parcels are refused.

We may decline or cancel an order that we cannot fulfil, that a payment provider flags, or that appears to be a resale purchase.

If we do, anything paid on it is returned in full.

What does energised mean?

After your order is confirmed and before it is packed, one of our acharyas performs the rite the item asks for: a yantra is consecrated, a rudraksha is awakened, a murti is invoked.

It happens for every item that asks for it, at no extra cost. The Energised shelf gathers the items that are.

The Energised shelf

Note

The energising is a rite performed in good faith. It is not a promise of any particular outcome, and it is not medical, legal or financial advice.
