Who asks
The Yagyanam Store is run by Yagyanam, a GST-registered sole proprietorship concern, Gurugram, Haryana, India, GSTIN 06BYZPJ9731R1Z4. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules, that is the Data Fiduciary asking for your consent. Continuing at sign-in, or placing an order, is consent to what this notice lists, and to nothing more.
What the store takes, why, and for how long
| What | Why | For how long |
|---|---|---|
| Your mobile number, at sign-in | To sign you in with a one-time code, and to reach you about your orders | Until you ask for the account to be closed |
| Your name, mobile number and email at the checkout (the email only if you give one) | To deliver the order, to send its delivery updates, and to send the receipt | Eight years with the order, as tax law requires |
| The delivery address | To deliver the parcel, and, kept in your addresses, to spare you typing it again | Eight years with the order; in your addresses until you delete it |
| What you order, what you paid, and the payment's reference | To fulfil the order, to issue its tax invoice, and to handle a return or a refund | Eight years, as accounting and GST law require |
| The name on the delivery address, for an energised item | So the acharya can say the rite in it | Eight years with the order |
Card, UPI and bank details go straight to Razorpay, the payment aggregator; the store never sees them. Couriers receive your name, address and mobile number to deliver the parcel, and the acharya who energises your item sees what it is and the name on its delivery address, which the rite is said in. Nothing is ever sold.
Taking your consent back
Taking it back is as simple as giving it: write to The Grievance Officer, Yagyanam at store@yagyanam.com, or call +91 88006 04588 (10 am to 6 pm IST, every day), and say so. We answer within seven days.
- The store stops using your details, and your account, your addresses, your wish list and your chats with Shambhavi are erased.
- An order not yet dispatched cannot be delivered without your name, address and mobile number: tell us whether to deliver it first or to cancel it, and anything paid on a cancelled order comes back in full.
- What the law makes the store keep stays, and is used for nothing else: orders, their invoices and payment references, for eight years.
- Taking consent back does not undo what was done lawfully before it.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may ask what the store holds about you, have it corrected or erased, take back your consent, have a grievance answered, and nominate someone to act for you should you be unable to. Consent given or taken back through a Consent Manager registered with the Data Protection Board is honoured equally.
The Grievance Officer
The Grievance Officer, Yagyanam, at store@yagyanam.com or +91 88006 04588 (10 am to 6 pm IST, every day). We answer within seven days. If the answer leaves you unsatisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
